Burn Times for Candles:
- Fists: Approximately 15 hours
- Torsos: 1–5 hours
- Skulls: Approximately 15 hours
- Cats: Approximately 11.5 hours
Candle Care:
If a slit forms where the wax begins to pour out, this may cause your candle to burn faster. While the effect can look dramatic and spooky, extending the life of your candle is simple: extinguish the flame and use the soft molten wax to seal the slit. Handling Soy Wax:
Soy wax burns at a lower temperature than traditional paraffin wax, making it safer to handle. However, if your skin is particularly sensitive, allow the wax to cool slightly before touching.
General Candle Safety:
- Always burn candles in an upright and secure position on a heat-resistant surface, as dripping wax is possible.
- For candles with a diameter over 5cm (2 inches), use a spiked holder or a flat, stable dish.
- Allow the wax to fully solidify before relighting the candle.
- Extinguish the candle before the flame burns within 2cm (1 inch) of the holder.
- Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time to maintain safety and candle quality.
